The Nothing? Or The Everything?

You have the power to choose.

Today is election day in America. I need to be honest, I am zero percent political and never have been. As a result, I have always been an unbiased observer in all things political - even more so since I decided to move to Italy. It has been such an interesting process to watch, as an outsider, the combative and polarized energy rising in America. 

This year, on behalf of some of the groups I facilitate, I am embracing my own inner psychopathy as a transformational process. The psychopathic defense character is one in which there is a closed heart, a sense of inevitable betrayal, and an inability to trust as a result. The internal dynamic is one of fight. This dynamic trickles out of us into our external world. I can’t help but notice that a presidential election certainly brings out this energy in the US. Us versus them. Good and bad. Right or wrong. So many people’s thoughts and emotions are feeding into a fierce negative belief system.
