Last week I wrote about remote viewing as a source of play to expand your perception into the unknown. I didn’t give a lot of details on remote viewing itself, attempting to keep you in the unknown and any tension that might bring. Today’s post, for those of you who are interested, is meant to teach you how to start remote viewing and give you a bit more of a background for understanding its use.

I have been remote viewing daily for many years. I first started to remote view for convenience. Over the years, I’ve learned to trust my skills and get clearer information. Nowadays, I help people find their missing pets and occasionally will give some feedback when asked on missing people. I remote view every day. Just today I used remote viewing to figure out the best time to go to my local hot springs so that it wouldn’t be too busy. Through daily use, remote viewing has become a method I use to plan my day and move through it. It has grown into an extension of my way of being and is beyond a tool. It has transformed into a part of my life similar to hearing noises and smelling smells.

Hot springing and mudmasking. A morning of deep healing.

If you look up remote viewing on Wikipedia, you will see that it is labeled as pseudoscience and claims it to be “The alleged paranormal ability to perceive a remote or hidden subject without support of the senses.” FYI - acupuncture, chiropractic, naturopathy, EMDR, psychoanalysis (what???), and hypnotherapy are also all called pseudoscience on that same site, so I’m not too impressed with their method of categorization.

Apparently what I am calling remote viewing is NOT the culturally accepted definition. While many people would say that remote viewing is solely a vision based sense, it is actually an experience of the entire body. Used in an embodied way, remote viewing activates all of your senses while simultaneously fine tuning your relationship to your heightened sixth sense. To be accurate and clear, remote viewing has to be a full sensory experience. Let’s take this moment to redefine remote viewing.
