Today’s lesson utilizes another simple breathing technique to reset your hormonal system. The endocrine system manages your response system to the world around you. This breath practice provides a simple reset into a baseline and directs energy (through breath) to the pituitary gland.

These days, our endocrine systems are on overload. We are exposed to so much that’s hard to digest. Additives, toxicities, pesticides, scents, cell waves (to name a few)…we simply live in a world that is harder on our hormonal system to keep in balance than we ever realize. When things are more complicated than we realize, it means we’re also taking for granted all the innate work our body is doing to keep us healthy. A breath practice that helps balance our endocrine system takes the pressure off the body and let’s us get a different sense of our own baseline embodiment.

When you’re stressed out, you actually don’t know what is real and what is reaction. It’s crucial to your own embodiment to have tools that give you a way to reset and come out of autonomic stress responses.

All of my embodiment lessons incorporate the vital concept of becoming alive to your own body without having to take a lot of time to do it.

Welcome to the ninth lesson in my series teaching you simple steps towards Embodiment or, as I like to call it:

Embodiment Practices and Teachings for Less Than 15 Minutes A Day!

Before I go too much further, I invite you to like my work, add a comment, or share this post. That’s how us writing folk gain an audience for the work we do.

To actively start to commit to any embodiment practice, it’s important to gain more and more tools that support your own capacity to consciously breathe. This means PRACTICE…AND practice in my world means PLAY!

By engaging in these short videos with a mind that is willing to just relax and let go and open to see what happens, you will start to bridge that ever so important connection between your brain and sensations in your body that go beyond thoughts.
